art comes in many shapes and sizes, and this particular artist is one particular shape and size. i just heard the other day that he will be leaving our fair city for graduate school... that strange breeding ground for art stars and hacks. i wish him the best as he ventures into this next stage, for some are never heard from again. i hope that with him this is not the case. he is a very well-liked piece of the nashville art scene, and his art statement from the show where he was photographed is one of the more memorable ones that i have read. godspeed, young artist.
